With a fierce commitment to creating visionary and innovative projects, Katy has successfully completed over 800 hours of television programming and over 75 feature films and thousands of hours of unscripted television shows.

With her tenacious approach and believing that anything is possible, Katy raised Equity Funds and produced the award-winning and critically acclaimed independent film, Finder’s Fee. The film stars iconic actor James Earl Jones, Oscar nominated actor Robert Forster, Erik Palladino, Matthew Lillard, and Ryan Reynolds. She partnered with writer/director Jeff Probst. Finder’s Fee was acquired and released by Lions Gate Entertainment. Katy has always had a passion for working on projects that promote positive family values and believes it is important to cherish classic literary achievements through the film medium. She produced the award-winning, time-honored classic Where the Red Fern Grows, starring Dave Matthews, which was released by Walt Disney Studios. Katy recently completed producing Tom Green’s feature film Prankstar.
Katy recently teamed up again with her partner Jeff Probst to shoot their next feature in February 2012 which is a beautiful coming of age drama written by Liz Sarnoff (LOST, DEADWOOD, ALCATRAZ).
When Katy expanded MysticArt to include an unscripted television department, the company quickly earned a reputation for being one of the most established and well respected in the industry. Katy has had the privilege of working with almost every major broadcast and cable network including ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, HBO, MTV, Lifetime, Bravo, TLC, and E! Entertainment. Because of her extensive network and relationships with talent, Katy has further expanded by creating, developing, and packaging new television content and providing production services to networks and other production companies. She recently created and executive produced a real life romantic comedy Welcome to the Family. She partnered with media mogul Reveille Entertainment and the late Bernie Mac to produce the pilot for NBC.
Katy has been featured on Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, Extra, MTV, Entertainment Weekly, People Magazine, LA Times, New York Times, and several other national television shows and publications. She has lectured all over the US and was a guest instructor at USC and UCLA where she developed curriculum on what it takes to build, launch and sustain a successful brand in the industry.
